Who is this "Dan Wolfe" Guy?

Based in Gray, Tennessee, Dan Wolfe is
an Actor, Comedian, Magician and Clown.

Dan and his Wife are recent transplants
from a tiny town in Western Pennsylvania
where he proudly held the self-proclaimed
title of "Village Idiot."

In 2004, Dan celebrated his 25th year
of making audiences laugh.

From carnival tents to 3,000 seat theatres,
appearances on radio and television and
live performances from New York to Moscow,
his humor seems to know no boundaries at all.

(...and, yes, the goofy moustache is real.)

With about 200 performances annually in the United States and abroad,
Dan keeps pretty busy.  But in his spare time, he creates new routines,
writes humorous songs and invents more astounding illusions
in a single year than most Magicians will in a lifetime.

Dan also teaches Comedy and Magic at many conventions and
was recently introduced during a workshop appearance by a
veteran Entertainer as "The funniest and most creative person
I've ever met in this business.
"

Having collected thirteen first place trophies for Character Design,
Pantomime, Juggling and of course, Magic, Dan's crowning achievement
came as he was named "Best Overall Entertainer" by an
international conference of Comedians, (P.O.N.Y. Comedy Assn. U.S./Canada)
for an unprecedented fourth year in a row.

Dan is also a columnist for
several magazines for Clowns
and Magicians and has
become a highly sought after
creative consultant, inventing
and marketing magic tricks
and illusions of his own design
that are used by thousands of
entertainers around the world.

Dan has spent years training his acrobatic
voice to affect accents and dialects from
across the globe and to imitate
anyone from Jack Nicholson
to Kermit the Frog.

But ironically, when presenting his beloved
little Tramp Clown, "The Amazing EARL,"
Dan never says a word.

This mastery of Pantomime has enabled Dan to easily bring his
special brand of comedy to international audiences.  Language and
age are no barrier to his remarkable ability to make people understand
his humor...a truly rare gift often compared to the talents of
Red Skelton, Toon Hermans, Charlie Chaplin,
Rowan Atkinson or Harpo Marx.

Upon close inspection, you may notice
that "EARL" wears a tiny golden cross
on his lapel.  Quite often, Dan speaks at
religious events -- his Christian Faith
being a very important part of his life.

Rest assured that Dan would NEVER use
his Concerts as a pulpit from which to
preach...unless that's why he was invited.

Think of it simply as a visual guarantee
that he will NEVER resort to any vulgar
or "blue" material in his performance;
almost a rarity in these modern times.

This style has greatly endeared him to
promoters and venues who seek good,
clean, inoffensive Comedy.  With Dan, they
know that's exactly what they'll get.
