	On «Concert Date», «Organization» in «Location»  will be hosting something a bit different; “Magic, Mirth and MINISTRY” featuring Christian Comedian, Dan Wolfe.

	Wolfe is a professional entertainer and evangelist from Clarington, Pennsylvania, who also claims to be the town’s “Village Idiot.”  Describing himself as a “contagiously excited Christian,” his unusual Ministry takes him into more than a hundred Churches, theatres and other venues each year to spread his message of Love, Laughter and the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Wolfe's route annually covers the Eastern United States, Canada and even overseas; twice taking him as far as the former Soviet Union.

	“Magic, Mirth and Ministry” draws on Wolfe's nearly twenty years experience as a Magician for a unique presentation of "Gospel Magic."  The vast majority of his tricks and illusions are those he has developed himself. 
	
	"My idea was to use the illusions as object lessons to help illustrate Biblical concepts in a very visual way," Wolfe says.  "For instance, I use a  Rope Trick to help demonstrate exactly WHY Christ had to be crucified on the Cross and what He accomplished by doing that for us.”  His goal with the illustrations is not only to entertain his audiences, but to help them comprehend his messages in a new way.  Wolfe continues, “It really works, too!  I don't know what all the Lord has in store for this incredible ministry tool, but I'm having a wonderful time exploring it."

	Also an accomplished actor, Wolfe portrays a number of different characters during his presentations as well.  His newest is based on how he sees himself in the future.  “I imagined what I would be like trying to do this stuff in another fifty years,” Wolfe explains.  “From the first time that character appeared, audiences loved him.  It’s opened a lot of new comic doors for me.”

		Wolfe also directs Comedy Workshops and has planted “Giggle Groups” in dozens of Churches to help spread the Gospel using this peculiar medium.  He is also a guest columnist for half a dozen industry magazines and presents lectures on ministering through magic and humor at many conventions each year.  With eight First Place Trophies to his credit, he has been named “Best Overall Male Entertainer” by the PA/Ohio/New York/Ontario Comedy Association for an unprecedented fourth year in a row.  An honor he jokingly “blames” on God.  “He made me what I am, so I suppose this weird little Ministry is all His fault.”

	"We are told to make a joyful noise," says Wolfe.  "And there's no more joyful sound than laughter.  If we believe the Bible when it says, ‘A merry heart doeth good like a medicine,’ then I guess you could call me a kind of Spiritual Pharmacist."

	Dan Wolfe will bring his special manner of Ministry to the «Organization» in «Location» on «Concert Date» at «Time».  A freewill offering will be taken to support Wolfe's Ministry.  The public is invited to come, worship and laugh.
