BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION - DAN WOLFE

Dan Wolfe began life with the dream of becoming a Professional Magician, but in 1991 his plans went awry.  He lost everything; his wife, his career and his hope.  Seeing his depression, his grandmother gave him something he'd never had before; a Bible. He sat down that night and began reading.  Before long he was convicted by the Spirit, got on his knees before God and asked Jesus Christ to become his personal Savior.  He's never regretted it for a minute.

Dan soon gave up his ambition of becoming another "Copperfield Clone" and began to concentrate on becoming the original "Dan Wolfe" that God had intended all along.  Because of his unique combination of gifts, he soon found himself in demand as a Christian speaker in Churches all across his native Western Pennsylvania.

Dan was understandably hesitant at first about taking up the yoke of "Evangelist."  After all, he didn't exactly fit the classic Apostle Paul/Billy Graham description.  He was a comedian, an entertainer and a genuinely weird guy!  If God was going to do something with his life, he knew it would have to be something kind of strange.

Well, to put it bluntly, it was very strange.  God found something that suited Dan's talents perfectly and soon helped him to discover a new part of himself; a comic Tramp Mime character that has since become known to thousands around the world as "The Amazing Earl."  Utilizing this new creature, the Lord sent him into a few local Churches with a trunk full of goofy props, a few Gospel magic tricks and his off-beat sense of humor to make His people laugh...and more importantly...to make them think.

In 1994, Dan took a huge step of faith and dove into his extraordinary Ministry on a full-time basis.  Since that day, the Lord has smiled upon this ministry of laughter and grown it to international proportions.  Churches of every denomination have welcomed the message that Dan carries because he doesn't preach doctrines.  He simply preaches the joy of a life saved by Jesus Christ and points out God's divine sense of humor.

Don't let Dan’s Mime makeup fool you.  His is NOT a Children's Ministry.  Less than twenty percent of Dan's audience is typically kids.  There is something about his programs that reaches ALL ages.  You're never too old to laugh!  Also, the majority of his concerts are repeat bookings.  It's not the children that invite him back.  It's the adults!
